I feel the relationship between word and image is strong, in literature I find the basic elements of my cultural bildungsroman.
I would add - considering that I basically work and produce images - that cinema has also had a great influence on the stylistic methodology I attempt to pursue. The use of long shooting times to achieve the effect of blur and the use of the sequence, which often takes the form of polyptychs in my works, testify to a stylistic mode in which the narrative moment takes priority. To photograph is to testify, and I attempt to walk a path in which testimony also becomes narrative, not so much realistic but more symbolic and imaginative.
